Somerset Produce and the Local Growers Alliance
We are a group of Maryland growers committed to taking good care of the earth and our communities. Our growing practices are sustainable and restorative.
We produce flowers, honey, vegetables, berries, and grains that you’ll feel good about buying and eating.
Amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, our crops are undeterred. Seeds are sprouting, plants are growing, bees are buzzing, and the 2020 market season is underway.
Find Our Produce
You can find our produce at Sibley Memorial Hospital on Tuesdays, the Pike Central Farm Market on Saturdays, and the Olney Farmers Market on Sundays. At all of these markets, you can shop on the spot or pick up items that you've ordered online. Scroll down for details about ordering online.
Tuesdays, 11 AM-2 PM at Sibley Memorial Hospital in DC. The farm stand is outside Building C, adjacent to the "Inpatient Drop-Off & Pick-Up" circle which is marked with a star on the campus map.
Saturdays, 9 AM-1:30 PM at the Pike Central Farm Market in Rockville.
Sundays, 9 AM-1 PM at the Olney Farmers Market in Olney.
Shop Online for Local Pickup
Our online storefront is open from 9 AM Thursdays until 5 PM Fridays. During checkout, you'll need to provide a "shipping address" and then choose a pickup option. You can pick up your order at one of our markets (see "Find Our Produce" above), or from a self-serve cooler in Ashton.
Self-serve, contactless pickup options:
Saturdays and Sundays, 4-7 PM at Tanglewood Flower Farm in Ashton. You'll pick up your order from a cooler in the driveway. This is an entirely contactless pickup.
